The Beaufort Hotel - Description

The Beaufort Hotel is situated at the very centre of the historic border town of Chepstow. The facilities here are all you would expect from a modern hotel, whilst still retaining the charm and character of a 16th century coaching inn. If you are visiting the Wye Valley, our sister hotel, The Riverside Hotel, is conveniently situated in the town centre of Monmouth. It is an ideal base for visiting the local attractions or the perfect distance from Chepstow for a day's walk along Offa's Dyke. As a hotel which has been trading since the 17th Century our rooms are varied in size and shape. Some have original oak beams others are more modern having been added over the last few years. Whatever the style of room all are en-suite and we endevour to ensure a high degree of cleanliness and comfort. Most rooms are enabled for wifi internet communication. In keeping with a hotel of this nature there is no lift but we do have rooms on the ground floor for those who struggle with stairs. The Beaufort Hotel is a family run business and we pride ourselves on giving efficient, friendly service and good value for money. We have 23 en-suite bedrooms, an excellent restaurant and Florence Court, a banqueting suite which has facilities for weddings, conferences or parties. We use only the finest produce, prepared freshly every day. The Oaks Restaurant our award winning Oaks Restaurant offers guests a modern a la carte menu featuring traditional British and international dishes to suit all palates. We buy much of our meat directly from local farmers and use Wye Valley and Welsh produce were possible.
