The Charterhouse Hotel - Description

The Charterhouse is situated approximately 100 yards from the clean sands of Livermead beach and the seafront. Approximately 100 yards in the opposite direction are the treelined meadows of the Cockington Valley Country Park, where meandering walks along the babbling brook leads to the delightful village of Cockington, with its 14th Century Thatched Forge. We have a mixture of double and twin rooms, family suites, and two garden rooms suitable for families or couples in which we do allow well-behaved dogs. Indeed you may well meet our own dogs around the grounds, Toffee and Phoebe, who are full of terrier character. The bedrooms are light airy and comfortable and have TV and complimentary refreshments. On arrival we like to let you relax with a pot of tea & coffee and biscuits before showing you to your room. The sun terrace leads off from the sun room and main lounge, commanding a wonderful view of the gardens and surrounding area, ideal for relaxing whilst enjoying one of our special Devon Cream Teas.
