'We enjoyed a wonderful night at the Black Swan. The room was amazing. Really large, modern and warm. The breakfast sourced from locally produced food was really excellent. We certainly want to go back, and for longer next time!'

Welcome to the Black Swan Public House comfortably nestled in the Yorkshire Dales at Fearby Nr Masham. Our 17 century Public House offers a warm traditional welcome as you would expect in the Yorkshire Dales. Enjoying three continuous generations of the McCourt family our pub now provides guest accommodation accompanying our Ales and food, 'An ideal base to explore the Yorkshire dales and beyond'. Our new guest rooms are particularly spacious with views over the Yorkshire Dales and the Vale of York. Why not stay in the Fairthorne Room and learn about its history and later discover the area for your self! Each room is named after local places with a brief history, accompanying walks and pictures both old and modern. All our rooms have en-suite facilities, TV, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, drinks making facilities and comfortable seating with coffee table.
