Drovers Arms Hotel - Description

The Drovers Arms is a family run hotel based in the heart of Carmarthen South Wales, proud of its long history and association with the early cattle drovers who travelled the long distances from rural Wales to the important cattle markets. These days we see a more modern traveller, and this is reflected in our newly appointed accommodation. Our 11 calm and comfortable bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, colour television, tea & coffee making facilities and direct dial telephones. The restaurant is a smoke free area converted from the original stabling for the drovers horses and cattle. Here we specialise in home-made dishes prepared from local produce. We have a cosy bar, which is ideal for friendly gatherings to hear local voices around an open fire. We are proud of our well kept cellar and serve excellent real ale which is brewed locally at Felinfoel. Meals from the restaurant menu may also be served in the bar.
