The George Hotel - Description

Enjoy a little country life at The George hotel, a stylishly converted Cotswolds inn, bold decor incorporating period features and antiques, attentive service and a modern luxe gastropub feel will soon have you relaxed enough to enjoy the region's many splendid things to do. Visit Stratford on Avon, shoot clay pigeons, ride horses, stride country lanes or just park yourself in front of the fire with a ploughman's lunch. Each room is identified by its oversized bedhead, which consists of a panel printed with a culinary image. Cream of the food themed crop is Chocolate, the biggest and most luxurious room, with a claw-foot roll top bath and a big walk-in shower, but Green Olive and Chilli Pepper are large too. Spacious Strawberry has window seats, great for market square people-watching. Top-floor rooms reflect the age of the building, with beamed ceilings and sloping floors; Marshmallow and Artichoke have lovely views. Raspberry and Oyster are small but sweet.
