Derwent Lodge is a hotel that provides a luxurious base for your holiday whilst at the same time maintaining an informal and relaxed atmosphere. From our slightly elevated position, you can enjoy stunning views of Skiddaw, Cat Bells and beautiful Derwentwater 'The Queen of the lakes'. There is plentiful parking within our grounds for all guests' cars as well as provision for cycles. Locked overnight cycle storage for guests on cycling holidays can be made available. There are eight beautifully appointed rooms, three of which offer double bed accommodation – one being a grand four poster bed – and both bath and shower en-suite facilities as well as unsurpassed lake views from comfortable chairs. Our other five rooms can provide either double or twin beds and have en suite shower rooms. All rooms are equipped with 20' flat screen TV, incorporating radio and alarm clock, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, tea & coffee making facilities and free broadband internet connection. As our guest, you will have access to our tastefully furnished quiet lounge overlooking the garden and with a splendid view of the lake, as well as our fully licensed lounge bar. On fine days, you can enjoy probably the most stunning local view of Derwentwater from our high terraces.
