At Ilsington, you'll find all the warmth and charm of an English country house, combined with the friendly service and attention to detail of your hosts and proprietors the Hassell family. The 3 star hotel has something for everyone; a beautifully appointed restaurant with award winning food (2 rosettes from the AA) and wonderful views towards Haytor, an indoor heated swimming pool with spa bath, sauna, steam room and large gym. It is also set in 10 acres of its own land within the Dartmoor National Park. It is well situated for exploring all of South Devon, with its beaches and coast, and is within striking distance for a day trip to the Eden Project. There are many National Trust properties to view in the area and fishing, sailing and walking are some of the many activities available locally.
