The Kings Lodge - Description

Built in 1642 and used as a hunting lodge by King Charles I. Some original features are still maintained. Considered most beautiful lodge in the region. Fine indian cuisine with lounge bar. All rooms are en-suite with shower, spacious and attractive. The restaurant offers a traditional Homecooked English menu from local produce and a well stocked bar with Real Ales and an extensive wine list. In the winter the two large open fires create that relaxing atmosphere whilst feeling the history of the Kings Lodge.
