The Galtres Lodge Hotel - Description

Galtres Lodge, set in the shadow of the Minster, offers the visitor an ideal and centrally located base from which to stroll through the Medieval streets and snickleways of York. The lodge is situated in the heart of the York cafe quarter where the narrow Medieval streets are home to a wealth of small specialist and designer shops. Visit the many historic attractions and places of interest or enjoy shopping in the town centre. The hotel is Wi-Fi enabled allowing wireless internet access via laptops and other portable devices. The lodge is a Georgian brick building, with heating throughout, sympathetically restored in such a way as to retain the warmth and character of the original house. There are thirteen bedrooms, comprising single, double and twin-bedded accommodation and some rooms open onto a view of the famous Rose Window of the Minster. Our rooms are serviced daily.
