There has been an Inn on the site of the George and Horn for hundreds of years. It was the site of the old Crown Inn which dates back to 1611 and retained that name on the site in 1725. The pub today is a traditional country Inn with a warm friendly atmosphere, serving beers wines and home made quality food. The George also has ten ensuite rooms offering comfortable value for money accommodation. Five of the rooms are self contained giving guests complete freedom to come and go as they wish. The George provides the perfect base when exploring the area and visiting the many local places of interest. In recent times the George & Horn has mainly been frequented by local people, however since the addition of letting rooms it has become a popular choice for both locals and visitors alike.
